The "Get Up and Move" project involved conducting research and developing prototypes for product interventions to address prolonged sitting. The interventions focused on integrating sensors into seat cushions that actively promote regular breaks from sitting. These sensors measure usage time and provide gentle reminders or alerts, encouraging users to stand up or move around.

Additionally, the research interrogated personal information to identify healthy behaviors and included examples of the "Get Up and Move" intervention, culminating in prototype studies. This comprehensive approach aims to foster a more active lifestyle and mitigate the health risks associated with prolonged inactivity.
